Hi,

I have to migrate from gitlab to github.
How can i change my auth method ?

Currently, when i want to login, i’m using Gitlab SSO, but now since my repos are on Github I cannot use “Login with Github”

Hello @Aubin,

It’s possible to change your login method.

These are the steps to do it:

  • invite your new user to your Qovery organization
  • logout or accept the invitation from an incognito tab
  • give your organization’s ownership to your new user

You can now connect to your Qovery account using either GitHub or Gitlab.

Before removing your Gitlab user, make sure your applications are not using any Gitlab repositories.
If they do, you’ll have to either create a new GitLab token and change the way your applications connect to Gitlab or remove all your Gitlab repositories and migrate your applications to connect to GitHub repositories.

When this is done, you can delete your GitLab account from your Qovery organization.
