Lost Environment Variables

We’ve had a couple of variables disappear from one of our projects this week. I wasn’t sure if this was related at all to the cluster upgrades or if this was one of my users changing things they shouldn’t have. I checked the audit log and I don’t see these variables changed until yesterday and today when I put them back. Is there anything else I can look at to figure out what may have deleted these variables?

Hello @ks321 ,

Can you give me a list of variables that disappeared? Along with when you noticed they’ve been missing?

I’ll check with the team if we can give you more information on this topic.

Charles-Edouard

Sorry for my slow response, one of them was MAIL_FROM_ADDRESS and the other AZURE_TENANT_ID. Potentially we might have a third SESSION_DRIVER as I’m not sure how the app was functioning without it

Hi @ks321 ,

focusing on the MAIL_FROM_ADDRESS variables on the project Family Portal I’ve found that the variables were created the 2024-11-13 21:47:38 (so I don’t see any previous creation event)

can you tell me more about:

  • how you found out that the env variable disappeared
  • where it was exactly configured (project / env or application level)

it will help with the investigation
